Election Day is Tuesday, April 1st.

There are positions for Board of Education, Library, Township, College, and Park District boards that are up as well as Board of Trustees and Mayor.

REGISTER TO VOTE

If you need to register or have legally changed your name, moved or have not recently voted, please visit https://ova.elections.il.gov to confirm your registration online through 3/16/25. 

If you need help registering, you can visit your township office, library, or village hall where someone can help you register online until 3/16/25. If your driver's license needs to be renewed before 3/16/25 you can register to vote at the Secretary of State facility when you renew.

You can also register to vote by mail, just visit:

https://www.cookcountyclerkil.gov/agency/register-vote, print, and fill out an application, and postmark it by 3/4/25.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMEBER

• 3/04/25 - In Person voter registration by voter registrars closes 
• 3/16/25 - Last day to register to vote by online application
• 3/17/25 - First day of early voting for most locations (check your county website) 
• 3/27/25 - Last day to request a mail ballot https://www.cookcountyclerkil.gov/elections/ways-to-vote/vote-by-mail
• 3/31/25 - Last day of early voting
• 4/01/25 - Last day mail in ballots may be postmarked - Election Day

If you are a college student - and we encourage you to vote in this election - you must request a mail in ballot by 3/27/25 at the above website. Don't wait until the last minute. Do this ASAP!

No matter what, your ballot needs to be turned in or postmarked by 4/1/25.
