Violetta Flis and Natasha Mucci Announce Write-in Candidacy for Township District 211 Board of Education
Palatine, IL – March 1, 2025
Violetta Flis and Natasha Mucci, concerned mothers in our community, are proudly announcing their
Write-In candidacy for the Township District 211 Board of Education in the upcoming April 1, 2025
election. Driven to restore balance and fairness in district leadership, Flis and Mucci are stepping
forward to represent the interests of students, families, and taxpayers at the board table.
“We’re running because our schools need a voice that reflects the whole community—not just special
interests,” said Violetta Flis. “As concerned citizens, we’ve witnessed the impact of the Teachers’ Union
and Democratic Party money swaying prior elections. This influence has skewed representation,
sidelining the needs and values of many in District 211. We’re here to change that,” Natasha added.
Flis and Mucci are declared Write-In candidates on the April 1st ballot, and each are running a campaign
built on a platform of clear, community-driven priorities:
• Returning to a focus on strong academics: Ensuring students receive a rigorous, high-quality
education that prepares them for success. The D211 Report Card must be improved.
• Ensuring schools are safe for all students: Creating secure environments where every child can
learn and thrive, and teachers and staff feel safe.
• Responsible spending of taxpayer dollars: Managing district finances with care, transparency,
and efficiency to maximize resources for students and classrooms.
• Transparency of district actions: Promoting open communication and accountability so
families and taxpayers know how decisions are made.
Flis and Mucci invite residents to join their efforts, share their concerns, and write in their names for a
vote that puts the community first.
" My mission is to save our hard-earned tax dollars while ensuring that every student in District 211 receives a world-class education.
I believe in responsible budgeting, transparency, and making decisions that prioritize both fiscal responsibility and academic excellence for our children’s future."
" I decided to run to give voters a choice in this election. I am running to give average parents like myself a voice back on the board. Unfortunately, I have found the current board is heavily influenced by the teachers union. The Board of Education is meant to represent the community."
We are a committed group of concerned D211 parents who are discouraged by the direction our school district is heading. Through attending countless school board meetings and being active in our schools, we have acquired the knowledge and tools to advise the community and lead the effort to restore parents’ rights, student success, and fiscal responsibility in our district. Join us in our efforts!
We will be providing recommendations on board candidates who align with our position on key issues.
C4KE's mission is to empower parents and students, and engage the community on D211’s role in educational success, student well-being, and fiscal responsibility. We will provide support to D211 candidates who align with our stated goals.
